We had a fantastic experience exhibiting at the Cyber Security Summit at Croke Park, Dublin. It was a privilege to connect with so many enterprises and industry peers who share our commitment to strengthening cybersecurity across the board.
One of the standout moments of the event was the insightful address by Minister Ossían Smyth, who holds national responsibility for cybersecurity. His speech offered valuable guidance on the evolving regulatory landscape, particularly with regard to NIS2, the upcoming EU directive designed to enhance the security of network and information systems across key sectors. While the NIS2 deadline is expected to be missed, it's reassuring to see the government's proactive release of the "Am I in Scope?" document, helping organizations determine their readiness and take necessary steps towards compliance. We were also honored to have Minister Smyth visit our stand, where we had the opportunity to discuss the Cisco and Meraki technologies that power our ROCSOLID services. At ROCTEL, we are continuously innovating to provide robust, cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, and it was great to see such interest in the tools that are integral to our Cyber Defence strategy.
The summit provided an excellent platform to exchange knowledge and strengthen our collective efforts in safeguarding the digital infrastructure of businesses across Ireland. We're looking forward to building on these connections and continuing our work in the evolving world of cybersecurity.
