ROCTEL was thrilled to announce the successful completion of its second annual business breakfast event at The Shelbourne Hotel. The gathering brought together industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders for insightful discussions on pivotal topics shaping the business landscape.
The event, which took place on the 2nd of May 2024, featured compelling insights from MEP Barry Andrews and Senator Mary Seery-Kearney, with a strong focus on DORA, NIS2, and cybersecurity regulations. Their thought-provoking presentations provided attendees with valuable perspectives on regulatory compliance and societal protection.
Further thought leadership was provided by Sarah Moran from KPMG, Brian Jordan from Cisco, and Andrew Merrick from Cisco. Their contributions added depth to the discussions on cybersecurity, sustainability, and regulatory obligations.
The morning proved to be information-packed and incredible, with EU and national government corporate stakeholders engaging in fruitful dialogues on EU regulations, operational resilience, privacy, and sustainability. The event, which commenced with registration at 8:00 am, featured a warm welcome from Cormac Reid before MEP Barry Andrews delivered the opening address at 9:00 am. A full Irish breakfast was served, setting the stage for a morning of enriching discussions and networking opportunities
